Beverly Kracher is the Executive Director of the Greater Omaha Alliance for Business Ethics and an Associate Professor of Business Ethics & Society in the College of Business Administration at Creighton University.
Beverly holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her current research focuses on moral reasoning in business, international business ethics, and e-commerce ethics. Her research has been published in various academic journals including Business Ethics Quarterly, Journal of Business Ethics, International Environmental Review, and the International Journal of Human Computer Studies. She writes a business ethics column for the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce B2B magazine.
Beverly teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in business ethics, ethical leadership, and business & society. She has been awarded the College of Business Administration's Excellence in Graduate Teaching Award.
Beverly has been a business ethics consultant or speaker for numerous businesses and professional associations including the Omaha Police Department, Blue Cross Blue Shield Nebraska, Peter Kiewit Sons, the Veteran’s Administration, and more. She has been a judge for the Heartland Better Business Bureau’s Integrity Awards since 1996 and was awarded a TOYO (Ten Outstanding Young Omahans) for her service contributions to the Omaha community.
Beverly has been the vice-president of a local interior plantscaping business for 10 years.
About Alexandra Pribilovics
Alexandra Pribilovics earned her BA from Fordham University, where she studied Political Science and Philosophy. She arrived in China with a thirst for knowledge of Chinese culture and desire to understand how business is conducted in China. As a result she completed graduate level coursework at Peking University Beijing through the International MBA program. Alexandra has extensive experience in media and communications. She has worked in marketing for the American Press Institute and as a literary agent for Sarah Jane Freymann Literary Agency and a research for the film company GTN Pics. She served as a journalist for both her high school and university’s school newspapers as well as an editor for The Journal of Youth Investigators.
Alexandra has traveled extensively on several different continents. Through her travels she has had the opportunity to work and volunteer for a number of different international organizations, such as Global Outreach (GO!) - Habitat for Humanity in Chimaltenengo, Guatemala, LHA in Dharmsala, India, Hutong to Highrise in Beijing, China and the Yunnan Mountain Heritage Foundation in Yunnan, China. As a result of her interest in bridging cultures she founded Synergy Sisters, whose purpose is to facilitate positive exchange between women of different cultures and countries.
Ms. Pribilovics joined the Center for International Business Ethics (CIBE) in 2005 as a Research Fellow, and conducted extensive research on the area of ethics, leadership, and corporate social responsibility in India and China. During her fellowship she also wrote and edited case studies for CIBE’s upcoming textbook on China and Business Ethics and launched the CIBE Reading Club and Ethics Workshop series. She is passionate about both Business Ethics and Marketing and in the fall of 2006 took on the role of Public Relations and Marketing Director at CIBE.
