About Aaron NewmanAs the founder and managing partner of Urban Core International , Aaron Newman leads the company from land acquisition and entitlements all the way through the development process and beyond. As a real estate entrepreneur in South and Central Florida, Mr. Newman's experiences include serving as the secretary of the Midtown Miami Community Development District (CDD), where he aided in the growth and development of the project. Additionally, Mr. Newman assisted in securing a HUD section 108 loan for $20.8 million and in the issuance of a $103 million secured bond offering issued by Bank of America. He also served on the Advisory Committee of the city of West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority where he helped establish long-term revitalization plans, aided to remedy the deterioration of Downtown property values and helped to retain and attract businesses. Prior to his real estate career, Mr. Newman founded and served as managing principal of WaxDigital, Inc., a marketing and advertising consultancy firm located in New York City. During Mr. Newman's tenure at WaxDigital, he forged numerous relationships with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. Mr. Newman has been featured in various publications and television stations as an expert in his field, and was named one of New York's "Top Entrepreneurs" by Crain's NY Business. Mr. Newman is an active member of the Congress for New Urbanism as well as a member and supporter of the Urban Land Institute. He is also a licensed mortgage broker and a property manager in the State of Florida. Mr. Newman's commitment to real estate development is revealed in the success of his projects and those with which he works closely alongside. Aaron Newman is a licensed Mortgage Broker, Community Association Manager and Notary Public in the State of Florida.
