- Lucia Green-Weiskel is the Communications and Development Manager at the Innovation Center for Energy and Transportation. It is an NGO focused on climate change, especially through reducing greenhouse gas emissions in transportation. Electric vehicles are a popular trend right now in the US and especially China, but the key to making electric vehicles successful is the source of power. Many of China's power plants are still fueled by coal, and the electric cars merely transfer the emissions from the tailpipe to the smokestack.
