About Rebecca FanninRebecca A. Fannin has been writing about international business, innovation and entrepreneurship since 1990. She is the international editor of the Hong Kong weekly Asian Venture Capital Journal and the former international news editor at Red Herring. Ms. Fannin got her initiation to China in 1992 on a reporting assignment for International Business, where she was editor-in-chief from 1990-1994. Her career spans to four years at Advertising Age International, covering marketing and media as deputy editor, and Multichannel News International as editor. Rebecca’s work also has appeared in "Inc." "Worth", The Deal, Chief Executive, Home Office Computing, AsiaWeek and Asia Inc. Combining her love for travel and adventure with passion for business writing, Rebecca has been on assignment in many of the world’s capitals, in India, China, Europe and South America. Originally from the small town of Lancaster, Ohio, she lives in New York City and commutes regularly to Hong Kong, Beijing and Silicon Valley.
