About Eric Rosenblum

Eric Rosenblum is currently GM, Global Strategy for RealNetworks, in Seattle, Washington. Prior to moving to RealNetworks’ headquarters, he helped establish RealNetworks’ China operation as Managing Director for Greater China. 

Before moving back to the US, Eric was a successful serial entrepreneur and investor in China, having founded ChinaNow (an online entertainment media company, sold to Ismay Publishing) and SmartPay (a mobile payment service provider, currently operating in 14 provinces in China); he remains a Director of SmartPay, and serves on the Boards of several other start-ups in China. 

Eric started his career in China with The Boston Consulting Group in 1993, after graduating from Harvard University with a degree (Magna Cum Laude) in East Asian Studies. He also has an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.
