Zenda Sims, Curl-ease™ inventor and CEO, designed Curl-ease™ as a solution to never ending hair woes. Zenda, born and raised in New York attended Boston University for college before returning to New York to work full time in the world of finance, specifically alternative investments.

While trying to balance working, exercising and maintaining a social life, Zenda realized just how much time and energy she spent scheduling activities around her hair. If her naturally curly hair was straightened, she reconsidered attending yoga class. After a long day at work, staying home to “wash her hair” become more of a reality than an excuse. Summers were the most difficult with East Coast humidity causing her hair to become a pile of frizz.

With all these factors in mind, Zenda began the journey of creating Curl-ease™. She knew that other women went through similar problems with their curls.
